unfinished sketches
Standing, looking at the towel swingin' on the clothesline
Sucking in the smoke I know won't be the death of me
Now I lay my head down
Thinkin' 'bout the way that you mat my hair down in the foyer, in the hallway in the park.
Now I'm a black n white picture wonderin' what your drinkin', what cha thinkin' over there
Over 'cross the ocean, over 'cross the grass.
Now I've got a headache from all the whiskey you left on my kitchen sink
Cleaned it up with that towel, hung it on the line.
